How to Use the Interactive Quiz Dashboard

A free, presentation-ready interface to generate, edit, and take your AI quizzes.

Welcome to the Interactive Quiz Dashboard! This frontend UI allows you to visualize and interact with the quizzes generated by the AI Quiz Bot. Instead of looking at raw code, this dashboard turns your data into a sleek, functional testing environment.

Free, Flexible, & Private

• Free & Universal Compatibility: This dashboard is completely free for anyone to use. You can generate questions directly inside it, or upload existing CSV/Excel question banks.
• 100% Privacy & Zero-Data Retention: Everything you do inside the dashboard—editing questions, taking the quiz, and viewing results—is processed locally in your browser. We do not retain your quiz data.

Step 1: Generate or Upload

To get started, navigate to the dashboard:

• Generate New: Enter a Quiz Title, type a prompt, and drag-and-drop your training files (PDF, MP4, etc.). Select how many Multiple Choice and Q&A questions you want, then click Generate. The backend will process the data and instantly load your new questions into the editor.
• Upload Existing: If you already have a bank of questions (or previously exported a quiz), simply click "Upload" and drop your CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file into the dashboard.

Step 2: The Question Editor

Before anyone takes the test, you have full control to review the AI's work.

• Review: See the Difficulty Score and Category assigned to each question.
• Edit: Click the "Edit" pen icon to change the wording, swap out multiple-choice options, or adjust the correct answer.
• Organize: Move questions up or down, delete ones you don't like, or manually add your own custom questions to the AI-generated list.
• Export: Want to use the questions in another system? Click "Download" to export your finalized question list as a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file.

Step 3: Set Up & Start Quiz

Once your questions are perfect, click Set up & Start Quiz. Here you can define the testing environment:

• Countdown Timer: Set a strict time limit (in minutes).
• Pass Threshold: Define the percentage required to pass the exam (e.g., 60%).
• Shuffle: Randomize the order of the questions for the test taker.

Step 4: Take the Quiz

The dashboard transforms into a distraction-free testing interface.

• Live Tracking: Test-takers will see a live countdown timer and a progress bar.
• Flagging: Not sure about an answer? Users can click "Flag" to mark a question and easily return to it later using the Quiz Navigation grid.
• Submission: Once all questions are answered (or the timer runs out), the quiz is submitted for grading.

Step 5: Review Results

Instantly see how the test-taker performed.

• Score Breakdown: View the total score, pass/fail status, and a breakdown of Correct, Incorrect, and Unanswered questions.
• Detailed Review: Scroll through the results tables to see exactly which questions were missed, comparing the user's answer against the correct answer.
• Export Results: Download the final graded results as a CSV or Excel file for your HR, teaching, or personal study records.
